Privacy policy

Your name. Asked for once, after you first sign in, so an order and a delivery can be addressed to someone. It is yours to change at any time and signing in again never overwrites it.

Your email address. Comes from the Google account you sign in with, and identifies your account. It is read-only here because it belongs to that Google account rather than to Kokson.

Delivery addresses and a delivery mobile number. Needed to deliver an order and for a courier to reach the recipient. The mobile number is contact information for a delivery — it is not used as proof of who you are and it is not verified by us.

Your orders. Each order keeps its own record of what was bought, the prices at the time, the charges and the delivery address, so that the order can be honoured and looked up later.

Support conversations. If you contact support, the messages are kept with your account so the conversation can be continued.

We do not collect or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV, bank credentials or any other payment instrument details. Payment is handled on the payment provider’s own screen, and Kokson receives only the outcome of the payment and a reference for it.

We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell personal information, and we do not run a marketing newsletter.

A cookie holds your shopping bag so it survives moving between pages, and another remembers a coupon code you have applied. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. These are necessary for the site to work as a shop; we do not set advertising or tracking cookies.

Kokson uses service providers to run this site: a hosting provider, a database and authentication provider, an image delivery provider for product photographs, and a payment provider to take payments. They process information on Kokson’s behalf in order to provide those services.

Signing in is handled through Google. Google’s own privacy terms apply to your Google account.

You can see and change your name, your saved addresses and your default address at any time under your account, and see your past orders under your orders.

Records of completed orders are kept as business and tax records, so deleting an order from your history is not something we can do on request.

This site is operated by Rupit Kokra, Proprietor, trading as KOKSON FOODS, which is responsible for the personal information described above.
